Personal project: I created fictional signatures for all the characters on BBC’s Sherlock - the modern adaptation of the original Sherlock Holmes novels. Each signature captures the personality of the character as portrayed in the TV series.

All of the signatures were created by hand using various types of pens (even breaking out the calligraphy set for Mycroft Holmes).

The signatures have proved to be very popular with fans of the show, being shared and commented on over 10,000 times.

My found Typography project. I plan to expand this to multiple versions of each letter, eventually selling individual letters so customers can create their own art words. Photos from signs and storefronts around Pennsylvania.

Packaging line for The Bath House Ltd, a project in my packaging class at Millersville University. The original project was only for the “citrus gardens” variety, but for my portfolio I expanded to include two other fragrances - “strawberry patch” and “blackberry bush.” This design won the judge’s choice award for packaging at the MU Senior Design exhibition in Lancaster, PA

Photos taken at the Buffalo Zoological Park in Buffalo, NY. It was a perfectly overcast day which was lucky in three ways - it wasn’t too hot or too cold for the animals to be out and about, I didn’t get blown highlights and dark shadows caused by a super sunny day, and the Zoo was all but deserted, which meant I didn’t have to try and get through crowds to get a good shot at the more popular animals.

I created this book in my final semester at Millersville University. The project was to create a fictional exhibit for the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum and design an accompanying book. “Press Start” is an exhibit which shows the evolution of video game controllers through time.

This project was to create a magazine on a subject of our choice. I set out to create a magazine about cats that was sophisticated enough to cater to a more modern audience.
